Hilary Hunter
Hilary works as a Regional Program Development Advisor for the Department of Indigenous Services Canada. Over the past seven years, she has supported Saskatchewan First Nations in the areas of Lands Operations and Policy, Environment, Treaty Land Entitlement and Governance. She graduated from the University of British Columbia with a Bachelor of Science in Forestry in 2005. She is proud to raise her two sons on Treaty 4 territory.

Hilary's experience includes conducting environmental site visits for Treaty Land Entitlement lands in Saskatchewan, supervisor of Governance staff for 25 First Nations in Saskatchewan, coordinating the Annual Treaty payments for 66 First Nations, registration of Status Indians, the release of Capital and Revenue Indian Moneys, Elections, and other related Governance initiatives such as First Nations Elections Act, Custom Election code development, etc. She is an alumnus of the 2017 Emerging Leaders for Sustainable Community Development program.
